Mare's replacement

I'm starting to think Mare is becoming too inconsistant. Is it time to part ways with him?
Does anybody know of any good kickers coming out for next year's draft?

If anything Mare is more consistent this year than any year in recent memory. This argument would have a lot more validity last year.

Because Mare missed 1 FG your writing him off? He's had a pretty good year.

I'm not saying he's doing worse this year than last year or any other year. I'm only saying that He's missed some field goals in close games and we need a kicker who can consistantly make those clutch kicks. The one he missed in Sunday's game was chip shot!

Kickers miss field goals, that's just the way it is. The only reason you'd replace Mare is b/c of his age. He isn't that old. He's only missed 3 FGs all year

If we cut him you could bet he'd have a career year next year with some other team. It just seems to work out that way with us. People come here and play like crap, go somewhere else and play better (Griese) is a good example.

Mare was making a ton of money and playing like crap for years, if it wasn't for Wanny he would have been gone years ago.
