I'm not sure what Dan can or will bring to the organization, but Chris Speilman will make an excellent GM IMO.

Speilman will without a doubt hold his ground against Wannestadt if their opinion is different.

I think that this was a good hire.

When I first heard the news, my imediate thought was not much of a change. But then sitting back and really thinking about it. I think this will be a great move. Marino wants only the best for the team, and Speilman really did deserve this job and will prove it in the time to come.

It's RICK Spielman, not Chris. Chris is Rick's older brother who used to be a star linebacker (???) for the Detroit Lions. Rick is the front office stud who will be running the personnel side of the Miami Dolphins now.
