If joey's passes are bouncing off of randy and chris could you imagine what danny's passes would have done. These guys would get concussions from Danny.:sidelol:

Marino would have scolded our recievers so bad, they would
have to catch them...Then Dan would have just thrown to
who he could trust, say like Wes.

I love Dan for that sooooooooooo much- the way he'd get in the faces of his wide recievers. That's a true leader right there. That's passion. Qb's are too soft now a days and I'm sooooo tired of watching Saban clap it up on the sidelines after a disaster.

Dan The Man would be yelling at Saban if he was on our present team. I also am sick of the claps after disasters.

Oh for another on the Field General. :boohoo:

I think Dan would have scared them into it. They would have known if the dropped the ball, the huddle would be a nightmare. He would have ripped them a new one. When they drop a pass they jog back to the huddle and get a slap on the butt and a smile from joey. Man I'm glad I got to see what onfield leadership looked like because we really don't have it.

Danny would have found a way to jam the ball in between the face mask insuring atleast some production.

That'll work. Or he'll just have to pass it to himself.

maybe extra time needs to be put into fundamentals

ok boys put your pointer fingers and thumbs together and let the ball hit your hands and close your hands

If Anna Nicole Smith made a pass at these guys, they couldn't catch it!!

If Dan was passing, they'd probably need Gloves.

For drops, Shula and Marino had a way to handle this (Unlike Saban who says I don't know how to coach mess-ups). If somebody dropped a Marino pass, they would not see the ball for at least a qtr. If they dropped another one, he might skip them for the rest of the game (Maybe Dan made an exception for Duper and Clayton).

Shula might have substituted a receiver in, and Marino would pass to that guy, instead. Then they'd substitute the original player back in, and ignore him. Good thing Marino never played with Terrell Owens. :)

On the radio, TE Joe Rose has talked about this before.

As for McMichael, with Jay Fiedler, you could passes with your pads. He should really be catching Harrington passes with his hands. Charlie Baggett, where are you? Do we have a Tight-end coach?

Marino had Duper and Clayton...great receviers....we now have CC, McMike, Booker, who can't make catches without making a bunch of drops.

Tony Martin(12 years) - 593 rec, 9,065 yds, 15.3 ave, 56 TDs
Mark Clayton(11 years) - 582 rec, 8,974 yds, 15.4 ave, 84 TD
Mark Duper(11 years) - 511 rec, 8,869 yds, 17.3 ave, 59 TD
Keith Jackson(9 years) - 441 rec, 5,283 yds, 12.0 ave, 49 TD
******
Marty Booker(7.5 years) - 424 rec, 5,310 yds, 12.5 ave, 28 TD
Chris Chambers(5.5 years) - 315 rec, 4,596 yds, 14.6 ave, 39 TD

Chambers and McMichael are on pace to catch Duper and Jackson.
