Best news I heard in months. Say Bye To Olivier Vernon. :3w:... Say Welcome To Miami Mario Williams!!! :D... This deal will be done real soon. Cameron Wake is safe. Mario Williams is Olivier Vernon's replacement. Now our D-Line will be great now. Suh,Wake, & Williams. Wow. I have no words for that lol... I have a feeling the Miami Front Office has something up there sleeve.
 
Come on, did you see how Mario Williams dogged it last year? He wasn't even trying! I don't want this guy unless he comes dirt cheap
 
Wouldn't be excited about Williams. Honestly, I don't get the fans sometimes. Olivier Vernon is 25 and a great hustle guy and fans are excited about a 31 year old who dogged it last year in Buffalo.

Maybe Williams has something to prove, but his numbers last year were way down.

Mario Williams wasn't happy in Buffalo. It wasn't the right scheme fit. He wanted out. Now he wants to stay in the division and show Buffalo they made the wrong mistake cutting him.
 
Smh at some of you homers propping OV over Mario Williams. Mario is worth $15 mil a season. OV is not worth more than $7 mil.
 
He was not a fit for a 3-4 that Rex brought in. I like this move. Pray for Jack to fall to 8 and starting to look good up front.
 
Miami has the money to sign Vernon. They got the money from restructuring Koa Misi deal. Vernon is asking for more money that Miami doesnt want to give him. So what Miami is going to do is use that money on Mario Williams. Mario Williams will cost us less then Vernon will. There is too many holes on this team to give all the money you have to one person.
 
The next couple hours you will see Mario Williams signed with the Miami Dolphins to a 3 Year Deal. Just letting you know.

I really hope you're right. Hate to say it but if we are building for the future Williams and Vernon makes more sense than Wake and Vernon. I know it won't be a popular opinion but Wake is 34 coming off a bad injury.
 
If he comes 3-5M cheaper than Vernon I'd be fine with this, otherwise I'd rather keep Vernon

If Wake restructures and we get this deal done we are money at one of the most important facets of today's game

I just read that Miami was 3.5 million over after tagging OV. It did not specify whether that included Misi's restructuring.

I would prefer Charles Johnson (released by Carolina) over Williams but either over Vernon.
