With the cap space we received from the Washington/Dallas miscues and the unloading of BM, I say we take a shot at Mario and make the D-Line something to be reckoned with. Cam Wake and Mario would cause some serious havoc. Hopefully we end up with Flynn on the cheap and add any FA wr that can make some sort of impact. I wouldn't even mind shipping the #1 after trading down to the Steelers for Wallace, But Mario should at least be looked at by the FO.

He was franchised at he would probably be a DT in a 43 since he is a De in a 34..

We need an edge Rusher..Mario would fit that bill, but lots of moolah.

I agree it would be expensive, but it would be a "seat-filler" and would bring some positive energy back to the team

With our offense with so many holes and ?'s I can't imagine how pursuing the most talented, as well as expensive, defensive free agent would suit our needs right now.
