I know, the Marlins aren't the Dolphins, but hear me out. On Quite Frankly today (ESPN), the host was saying that San Antonio is courting the Marlins. Wouldn't that be great? I hate that the field is so crappy for the first 5 games or so every season. It's not like the Marlins are doing anything. Get rid of the squatters, and let the phins have the stadium all to themselves like they should. Comments?

the marlins have won more championships than the dolphins have recently. quite frankly i think they deserve the stadium a hell of alot more than we have in the past few years.

What i find interesting is that the heat who have never won anything get two stadiums built for them and the marlins who have won two chamionships dont get jack.

Which is more sad--that they probably will leave or that few people really care.

It's easy to say something like that when you don't live there and are not a fan of the team. And to get rid of them because they aren't doing anything? If that is the deciding factor, maybe it is the Phins that should be leaving. But it's not, thankfully. Unless, of course, they were sent to Arizona. :chuckle:

You've got a point...Who else can I root for besides my Yanks and Marlins. Will never root for a Texas team, never...Can't believe Mr H offered to pay for the field right next to the Dolphin Stadium and they turned it down. They want to be downtown Miami (for more revenue I guess)

I think it's terrible. Yeah, lets boot the only team that's brought a championship to Miami in the last decade out of the city, great idea. Do I want them out of Dolphin Stadium? Yes I absolutely do. But they deserve their own stadium, I don't want them leaving Miami. Someone down there needs to figure their **** out and get a deal done.

Being a Marlins fan I don't want them to move out of Miami. However moving out of Dolphins stadium I wouldn't mind. That would suck for me if they moved to SA, i'd have to find myself a new baseball team.

The Heat are more popular, they play indoors. ;)

They already have two teams in Texas (Rangers and Astros)....I see the Marlins moving to Portland. Anywhere but Dolphin's stadium would be good.

With how the Marlins are basically destroying themselves, I think it's clearly evident that they're packing their bags and looking for greener pastures.
