Saw an all 22 that showed how the Fins ran that same exact play before but Shaheen caught the ball for a decent gain. This time the defenders took Shaheen instead... Game over.

It is a great play design. Put Wilson in motion clearing out the defender and post snap have the TE follow in Wilson’s footsteps.

The first play the Ravens were playing man on Wilson and it left Smythe wide open.

On the pass to Wilson the Ravens were playing zone and no one on the Ravens got the memo they were to cover that side of the field.

Gives me hope the playbook can and will evolve and Godsey can be more creative in his play calling.
 
Tua needs to be more assertive in the play execution and not just go with the script. It is clear he is not happy with the rigidity of the system but this is the type of stuff that Brady does. Not saying he is Tom Brady but if he is evolving how good can he become. He had a compromised throwing hand but he used his brain to help us win the game. This is the Elite factor we should be looking for.
