Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports the San Diego Chargers will release FS Marlon McCree in the offseason.

Has some experience.Played for some good defensive teams(Jags,Panthers,Chargers). Could be a nice addition since our safteys are pretty beat up.What are your guys thoughts on him?

The guy that single handedly caused the loss of the Chargers against the patriots... Rookie mistake... Well that aside, Id rather stick with what we have and go for Hamlin at Safety. Maybe Sign Mcree for peanuts for depth, but if he wants a long term contract and looking for a payday, then forget it

I rather have Gibril Wilson over any other safety who is a free agents or in the draft including Kenny Phillips who I think is overrated and never lived up to his expectations.

I was thinking for depth instead of Tillman, or Schluters or if Hill or Bell have trouble coming back. I definitely would take Hamlin over him but Hamlin might not be available and if he is could be expensive.
