Just said it live on nfl network,He had nothing but praise fo the phins, steve meriochi "cant spell" changed his pic from the phins to the pats:dolphins:
 
Not too surprising. New England's defence is decimated from the LBs back to the Secondary. Belichick is a genius, but as much as NE fans would like to believe it, he's not a deity and those weaknesses will show up come regular season.

Our biggest weakness is our secondary, but our D-Line/LBs are so strong and deep that the pass rush they create under Dom Capers' defensive scheme will make our DB's look better than they are and give them time to develop.
 
its a toss up between new england and miami. Honestly, theres no real way you can say either team has an edge over the other right now. its just gonna come down to execution.
 
I don't like everyone having these big predictions for us. I'd rather sneak in under the radar then expected to be great.
 
ya marshall is a big culpepper fan. i say we sign him as a backup

You're bit late on that. The hype-machine started a couple of months ago like it or not. Look at the pass rush the Bucs sent after Daunte tonight. There's no way the Dolphins are "under the radar". I have every faith we'll handle it and the season opener is going to be a blast to watch.

Not exactly late, I've been saying it for months. I have faith in the fins too, what I don't have faith in is all the "experts" opinions. I believe they all said last Super Bowl was supposed to be a rematch of super bowl 39. Look how accurate they were on that one. IMO its almost like a jinx.
 
in the time i posted this steve muriuchi fliped back to the phins then after marshall said make up your mind he said i guess its a toss up.... lol

I'd be shocked if we won the Super Bowl but I don't think taking the AFC East is too big a stretch. The Pats are beat up and didn't really take over the game against the Cards tonight until the second half. They'll still be a tough opponent but depending on how quickly things gel (especially with the O-line) it could be a very nice season for the Phins.
 
Yes but Marshall Faulk just recently had to talk about the Patriots and all he talked about was how the Rams were cheated in Superbowl 36 and how the Patriots were getting cheap shots. Sounds like a biased, sore loser to me.
 
I love all these predictions. They are fun to make even though we all know they mean nothing until the teams meet on the field. Still, as a loyal Fins fan how can I not say this is our year to knock of the Pats and win the division? So I'll say it. Dolphins win the AFCE by two (count them, two) games!!!! WOOOOT!!!
