Taking into consideration that Bush could take a pounding with the number of carries he's expected to see which could result in missing a game or two, I'm gonna roll with Brandon Marshall and eight total touchdowns. Reggie Bush opens up the passing game down the field. It's tough for defenses to roll that safety over the top when you have to be concerned with Reggie out of the backfield.

Marshall without question. Bush's only chance to see the endzone is when he busts one from outside. He won't see the field inside the 15......if it's not a pass it will be pounded by Thomas or Hilliard.

Marshall - 9
Bush - 4

I'm gonna say Reggie Bush, but it will be close.

Marshall - 11 TDs
Bush - 13 TDs (6 rushing, 5 receiving, 2 punt returns)

Marshall since bush will be pulled inside inside the redzone.
Chubbs

What Chubbs said...plus with our "suspect" o-line we are going to have to throw the ball to score. It has been fairly evident so far that even 1st and goal inside the 5 yard line is no gimme for this o-line, so whoever is runing the ball is going to have a heck of a time getting it in the endzone.

Bush might get pulled inside the 5, but you're a fool to think he won't be in the game inside the 20. The guy is still a playmaker and can get the ball in the endzone. He will be on the field unless we are pounding it up the gut inside the 5, or making the opposing defense THINK that's what we are doing. If both stay healthy, Bush should have more TDs.

I think it will be very close (1 or 2 TD may seperate both or them), but I think Bush is going to become a huge weapon for Henne, especially with Marshall's new found speed, Hartline continuing to get deep, and Clyde proving his speed is not hype. Bush will get chances with short passes, deep passes, and running plays, so he might see the endzone quite a bit if things go right.....he even (I REALLY HOPE NOT!!!!) might get some chances returing punts and kickoffs.

Hopefully marshall. The way i look at it: If marshall succeed's than henne is doing something right.

Bush will have more TDs because the way were going to use him. Hes not going to be in the flats all the time and he wont be on STs. Hes going to have alot more touches compared to marshall. BUSH WILL BREAK OUT THIS SEASON. Bush injuries always happen on STs, keep that in mind.

I have a hard time believing Bush won't be on the field in the red zone. It makes no sense to sit one of your playmakers and revert to pounding the ball and settling for FGs. Hopefully they have learned their lesson over the last 3 years of doing this.

Isn't that what Wayne Fontes used to do with Barry Sanders...made no sense to me back then either.

I don't see Bush lining up behind the line and just running straight forward to try and score, he can't move the pile. Maybe a toss play or a swing pass but I'm sure the defense will be ready for that. A good opportunity to hand off to the fullback and let him run it in (Clay or Polite).

On the other hand Marshall only scored 3 TDs last year and his career high is 10 TDs in a season. Henne has never thrown 3 TDs in a game in his career but we have shown a lot more vertical routes this preseason. This is really close to call.

I say Bush gets 7 total TDs (running and receiving) and Marshall gets 6 TDs.
