What do you think will happen to him??

IDK, he had a few big games this year.
He is a pro bowl WR at one point in his career.
What I notice is that because Frerotte was the QB really only one WR a game could do good. Booker had a few solid games and only started 11. He still posted decent #2 WR numbers.

He also has very good hands and provides a stabality, that Chambers still doesnt have.

I say try to work out his contract a little bit and keep him for this coming season.

If we got rid of him we would have to get a different WR either in the draft of FA. No real point in trading him unless it's cap related.

I would think that MB will be kept on without renegotiating. He is a very good WR and is just at the end cusp of his prime. He is a good complement to CC as well. He could become our slot reciever in the future if we find a better outside guy thru the draft/FA with CC....He's got the right size and experience to be that guy.

We may want to let go of him in the next few years, so renegotiating the contract will make that more difficult. The cost of reneg. will make it harder to cut him later when we do find a replacement. As a #2 WR with his talent, he's not overpaid.

Now, if someone that we draft or pickup in FA shows some promise later in the year, he could be a June 1 cut, but he'll get snapped up by someone if so. We'd have to be sure. But after FA and the draft...who knows...

I say redo his deal and keep him. I dont think he is worth 2 mill a year as a number 2 receiver but I would hate to see him be let go.

re:

He's of a bigger value than a lot of people see. He's the solid, #2 receiver that the Dolphins need opposite CC. He's like a less expensive version of Keyshawn Johnson, and I hope the Phins keep him.

I have never really been a big fan of MB. He's not a bad second reciever but if we could bring someone in like Reggie Wayne even tho i cant see that happening we would be amazing. I have never rreally seen MBdo nething that special and i watch alll the games on sunday ticket. He's and ok 2nd reciever but if we have enough cash to bring in someone else that would be amazing

I say, if we can renegotiate, why not keep him? Even at his present contract it's a pretty fair deal.

i say keep him cuz his contract is up soon anyway......i think...... Then with our first pick draft santonio holmes. then holmes can play the slot for a year or two and learn from booker and in a couple of years holmes and chambers would be the best combo in the league. Even though i think holmes could start right away

alright, listen up....we cant pick what to do with him now, we have to do this in an order, first we have to see whos out there in free agency, who we might trade him for, what happens with Ricky and T.O. and so on.....this is a matter that will wait after the first and second moves are done

It depends on our other off-season moves so i can't answer it.

I thought Booker was in his last year of his contract. It looks like he is signed through 2008. He isn't a bad #2 receiver. But I think Miami should bring someone in to compete with him.

Yes, let's get rid of him because he doesn't do anything special.

bring givens in, and have mb be our 3rd wr and have him in the slot, givens, cc, and mb would be SICK
