Marty "Bum" Booker

yea he had a terrible game, man o man . . . that drop on that one play, I mean he had NOBODY near him, probably goes for a TD and we still have tons of time left. I'm not even mad at the slip on the endzone cuz the ball was tipped anyways, but that drop . . . . that one stings.

I agree, IMO Booker should be the #3 WR behind Welker.

That 2pt conversion was all in the fault of Mike Mularkey. Who the hell calls a half back pass on a 2pt conversion? That was the dumbest call in NFL history, and the ****er should be fired for it.

Booker dropped three balls though. Yes, three.

Saban should have vetoed that call. If if was third down and goal I can see that not when you have only one chance to score. Booker did have a pretty crappy day but he wasn't the reason we lost.

I agree that play call was questionable. There was bad playcalling the whole game. Once again for the 4th week in a row Im screaming at the TV for screens and draws. We ran 2 draws and 1 screen the entire game and all 3 of those plays were in the 4th quarter!!! Frustrating.

He should of had the 3rd down catch but I really don't think it affected the outcome.

Booker should not be in the NFL and should not have been a part of the Miami Dolphins ever since he made the comment that he missed Chicage and was sad he was traded. Frankly, he has played depressed in Miami. He dosent care about the team.

I disagree somewhat on that one. It did affect things as it would have put us in position to score sooner. It was a potential momentum killer. Fortunately we did score to have a change to tie things up. I don't blame him necessarily for the slip in the end zone on the 2pt try. It was just a microcosm of what happened today and symbolic of what has happened to the offense all season so far.

He did make some good catches when he did hang on. It goes way deeper than plays Booker did not make. After four weeks the two main denominators are shaky playcalling and bad OL play.

Booker has been the only consistent guy on this team since his arrival. He's had hands, and been the go to guy more than chambers. He was off today, happens to everyone. It sucks, but don't call for his head yet.

That 2 pt conversion should have never been called. Booker had one bad play and that was the drop.

 @ some people saying he shouldn't be in the NFL or he should be our #3.

:rolleyes2

What makes this thread an even more rancid pile of cow **** is that I'm sure those who are damning Booker just love Chris "drops" Chambers.

You know, I'm starting to hope Booker gets traded next year so he can ****ing go off and people will realize how wrong they have been about him.

Look CC drops a few but Marty isn't a sure handed reciever anymore, he drops atleast twice as many as CC with less looks... but he's still a gamer.... We need Hagan to step it up and become ( sometime soon ) our #2 regardless tho. I still think it's stupid when people say Marty is depressed.

JJ you've been hoping for Marty to break back out year after year.... but from what I see there isnt a pro-bowl caliber reciever hiding inside his head somewhere. He's fun to watch but there's just no way he's ever gunna be more than a slightly above average #2 again. And this thread isn't a rancid pile just because it calls out your guy. Marty hasn't played very well and made mistakes in our 2 pt. loss.
