just a quick question, If we get martz as o.c do you think he would want to bring in warner for a year or so while cutler(or whatever qb we draft) learns the system? also would martz want saban to bring in t.o to replace booker? as bad as t.o is that would make our offense a scoring machine! warner is old but he is younger than gus and knows martz system, if he can stay healthy and on his feet he can be decent.

It's MARTZ not Marts....and why would he bring in Warner when Warner is in Arizona?

no to warner

longshot on martz, him and saban would conflict too much on play calling

i think TO will be here next year.

Arizona appears to want to keep Warner but he is currently an UFA.

By all accounts, Martz and Warner's relationship soured the season prior to him signing with the NYG.

dont get me wrong warner is not my first choice but i just thought martz would like to bring in a guy that knows his system like linehan did.....

I'd rather much stick with Frerrotte than "Broke" Warner.

Warner is so much better than Ferotte it's measured in nautical miles.

He put up an 85+ rating in Arizona this year, completing almost 65% of his passes (compared to Gus's 52%!) for a YPA of 7.23! (compared to Gus's abyssmal 6.06).

Warner would be a huge upgrade and a really good person to pick up to start if he draft a rookie.

Martz once said that Warner, "Needs to spend a little more time studying the play book and not the Good Book (as in the Bible)." He and Warner did not get along very well.

Dude, how many times did the receivers drop balls that gus put right in the numbers. Our Receivers weren't playing well at the begining of the year. Its not like gus was throwing ducks down the field, they were mostly catchable balls, or dropped passes. I wish one of you stat gurus would do a search on the dropped passes we had, and subtract them from Gus' incomplete passes, and see what it would have been.

Good God! Not Grampa Warner! Yowsa!

Yeah, a whole month older than Ferotte. And playing twice as well.

Dude, how many times did the receivers drop balls that gus put right in the numbers.

:shakeno:

Not a whole lot more than EVERY quarterback's recievers. Look it up.

Gus is an inaccurate quarterback. That's not my opinion... that's fact.

Actually, it is EXACTLY like Gus was throwing ducks down the field.

Come on. Did you watch the games? He was consisitently throwing YARDS behind or in front of the recievers.

I wish one of you stat gurus would do a search on the dropped passes we had, and subtract them from Gus' incomplete passes, and see what it would have been.

Already been done. Go look it up on Elias.

BUT... be sure you give all the other quarterbacks back THEIR dropped passes, too.

And Gus, alas, will still be one of the five worst quarterbacks in the NFL.
