If Linehan does get a head coaching job, I wonder if Saban would give Martz a look. Obviously the ego issue would be out front here and I could see potential issues b/t him and Saban. But the guy does know offense and I think CC would benefit from him.

Martz is not going to go from a HC to a OC... stop dreaming.

if goes somewhere else... like to Martz go to the Raiders....

martz's son said that the lions are lookin at his dad the most, and he didnt know about the fins.

With those receivers, he'd sit back and pass 70 times.

why would anyone sign martz as a head coach? he should ONLY be an Offensive Coordinator...

I HATE Martz. I think he's a horrible coach what doesnt adjust to change at all.

I actually think Mariucci will be coaching oakland and another interesting thing will be the Art Shell talk that will build up

but Martz will prob get the job in either Detroit or Minn, however if he doesnt will he do what Greg Williams did and go back into the ranks he came from and try to re-emerge for another chance

took his team to the superbowl as HC....

alot of teams would take him

he took what was left of Vermeil's Rams... as i can see the team hasnt been able to tackle for about 3 years running

Martz 43 regular season wins in his first four years of coaching is 3rd highest in NFL history...
doesnt matter whos "players" he had... took them to the superbowl... wins games...

the same can be said about Jay Fiedler... had a great winning percentage, took us to the playoffs, etc... did that mean that he was the right quarterback for the job? no...

Martz is an OC not a head coach, he knows nothing about defense, he has a great offensive mind

any team that hires him as a head coach is nuts

Jay never took us to the SuperBowl... Martz did
I stated games won.. not winning percentage.

how many playoff games did Jay win, any Division titles? or conference titles..

not to mention NE tried to hire Martz before getting Belichick

Martz hired Lovie Smith as his DC

Martz is going to be hired in a heartbeat. I don't like him much either, but fact is that there are a lot of chairs and not a lot of suited *****. It would seriously suprise me if Martz had to settle for a OC job.
