The team plane from London hadn't even landed stateside last season when word was already out that the Oakland Raiders were firing head coach Dennis Allen.

No one should be surprised if the same ignominious fate befalls Joe Philbin by the time he's back on terra firma in South Florida.

Even if the Miami Dolphins head coach keeps his job, this season has fallen apart so quickly there's little reason to believe he can keep it through December.

No one should be expecting a turnaround following Sunday's 27-14 loss to the New York Jets at Wembley Stadium. The Jets opened a 20-point lead while thrashing Miami in the same type of convincing fashion the 2014 Dolphins handled the Raiders in what proved Allen's final game in Oakland.

Ineffective leadership starting with Ross. Only good thing is we will win less with Philbin at the helm which equals better pick. Unfortunately we have to endure 12 more games and post game conferences with this bafoon.

I'll believe it when I see it. If what Philbin said in his post Pressler is accurate, and both he and Coyle are safe, Ross deserves the tornado of hate coming his way for the remaining 12 games of this season.

Ross will give him a two year extension, a nice hair piece, his own private plane, and a lazy boy to use on the sideline.

why would you not do this at the bye???

I swear, everything "good" Ross has done has been to make $$, like the new stadium (meant to attract more fans and a SuperBowl. Everything he has done from a football perspective has been to purely sabotage this team.

Sounds like Marvez is just speculating and talking out of his ass.

In other news if the dolphins lose the next 12 games by double digits , Ross may make a change at coach or he may give him another extension

The franchise is loser city. The only way this gets turned around is if the owner sells the team. Firing Philbin won't make a difference.

There is a rumor that Philbin is being fired and Mangini would be interum coach. I think it's BS, isn't Mangini coaching somewhere now?
