Marvin Allen Is The New Assistant Gm According To Adam Schefter

Miami has been drafting well in last couple years and found some undrafted players too develop , these moves are hope in the right direction

He has a great rep as a scout...very well known!
 
It must be such a slow time of NFL season that causes some folks go out of their way to whine about functions they don't even understand.

This guy is clearly more qualified for this job then many of our "experts" here can recognize. How well he does will depend on a lot of things, such as:
1) Who is available in the draft - you can't get them if they are not there.
2) How well do we do in free agency? This may be the area where we have the best opportunity to make some real improvements on the field.
3) How well he does will be effected by our organizational structure and personnel. Do they work together effectively? Are our new management hires more knowledgeable then who they replace? Do we even know what their job descriptions are so we can know if they are doing what they should be doing well?

The draft isn't that far off. Free Agency is already in play if you are interested in any of those available and the field will be expanding shortly.

That's when we will start to see how things are working out. Until then the complainers are just shooting blanks. No surprises there!
