Matt Breida's speed

He’s a good RB if healthy. Probably more ready then most rookie RBs

One of my friends is a HUGE 49ers fan and he said the only reason he fell out of favor was that he out the ball on the ground a few too many times. I have done zero research to back that up. Happy about landing him , happy about potential speed he brings to the RB group. This was a win win after missing out on Dobbins.

Even when he is not healthy he is still a warrior. Played two years ago and was questionable every week. I think he is much more of a finesse guy than power

Guys with that kind of top gear usually are "finesse" types.

As long as he knows when to just put his head down for 3 yds as necessary, that's fine.

I don’t know this for certain but I believe he has the want-to to gain those two or three tough yards if he is already loose. For example he busts off a 15 yard run up the gut and only has a safety between him and the endzone

The guy's metrics are off the charts, he wasn't invited to the combine so he went unnoticed coming out of Georgia Southern. Take a look at his RAS card (green is elite traits) and we know the guy can play in this league already. Perfect pairing with a guy like Howard imo.

really doubt that's the reason. he's fumbled 4 times in 3 years.

Does a good job of making the first man miss too, which should come in handy with Miami. :)
