Matt Flynn to visit Dolphins

Looks like he may be much cheaper than originally thought. I say bring him in to compete with Moore. get a bunch of Wrs and TEs in draft along with a pass rusher

At least we planned a visit and we stopped sitting on our hands for the right price I figure around 5 million a year he will sign with us

Good news, I was getting worried Miami was going to lose him to Seattle. Get him into Miami, and don't let him leave the building. The nice thing is that he likely won't be getting the $8-10 million a year deal that most expected before the start of free agency. Probably more in the $4-6 million a year range, and make him prove himself.

Let's get our QB this weekend Ireland. We could also still use a draft pick on a guy in the 3rd round to develop and be the #2 once Moore's contract expires after this year.

Just so there's a fair TC competition, unlike Henne being handed the job last season .. maybe costing the team a game that could have represented more than just being a jest spoiler in 16, then I'll be fine with signing him.. let the best QB win.

Good to hear. Maybe Manning finally let Ross and Ireland off the hook and told them its over.

Unless Peyton just informed Miami that they were no longer in the running, I don't understand the timing of this visit.

Why are you all over him, i just dont see it................

We have no clue what he will cost . Im thinking he will still be handsomely paid and will not be competing for a job, he will get the starting nod wherever he goes

There's no point in waiting for Peyton anymore, time to move on. Flynn can lead us into the future, and I'm cool with that. But deff need to add someone for him to throw the ball too.

I do like him becoming cheaper as you said.

We have seen what Moore can do and he is just average...He can't throw the ball deep, crumbles under pressure, and many times is inaccurate.

I 'd take the chance with Flynn AND as you said get a project...

It's time to move on from Peyton...We can't wait forever for that situation while letting this potential franchise QB get away...
