Tired of all the FA/TB complaining, so switching it up.

Now that Rishard and Jennings are gone, we need a WR to step up behind DeVante/Landry/Stills. Do you think Hazel is that guy? Or FA/draft.. ?

Admittedly, I know very little about him aside from the fact he's been here 2 years watching.. Gase got a lot out of average WR's in Chicago last year.

I am surprised that Tannenbaum hasn't traded him for a LG with a wooden leg

I think Hazel could step up and claim the 5th receiver spot, but I have my doubts about the 4th.

I thought he looked pretty good in the pre-season last year. He dressed for a few regular season games last year but had very limited snaps, so he's an unknown quantity against NFL starters. I'd be fine with him entering camp as the favourite for the #4 WR. We have too many other needs to be drafting a WR early, and while we could sign a veteran prior to camp, I'd prefer to roll with youth given how the Jennings experience worked out.

He needs to prove himself in camp. After 2 years, if he can't be our #4, he needs to go.

The position was really crowded last year...good problem to have.

The kid has flashed in the pre-season and would think he would get the first crack at one of the roster spots...on him to seize it.

He is the reason I was OK with letting Matthews walk. He looked good every time he was on the field and is dirt cheap.

We still should have kept Matthews. Matthews and Parker on the outside with Landry in the slot would have been deadly. And the odds of Landry and Parker staying healthy all yr are slim, so I think we will regret letting him walk. I am not a big fan of Stills.

The Dolphins need to develop him into an elite talent riiiiiiight before he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

Need to keep the formula alive.

On a related note, what horrible, horrible things do you think we all did in a past life to arrive here as fans of this team? Must have been a doozy!

I think was Tannenbaum's ego. He traded for Stills so he had to stick to his guns and let Matthews walk in a crowded WR room. My dad always said pride was a poor substitute for intelligence.

I don't know about Hazel I remember seeing him in a preseason game against Dallas when he was going for a catch he saw a defender coming he just pulled his hands back and didn't even try to catch the ball and ended up getting blasted anyways. But I was screaming at the tv at least try to catch it.

Needs to step it up in camp and preseason or he may be a cut candidate. Lots of young hungry guys will be vying for NFL spots this summer.

We fired the greatest coach in history instead of letting him retire whenever the fawk he wanted. You don't fire don Shula and force Marino to retire. I thought it was classless at the time and disrespectful. Shula earned the right to retire whenever he wanted. I remember dumbazzes saying oh Shula is too old and the game has passed him by. I would rather have had Shula coached the last 20 yrs then the crap we have hired.

Too bad we don't have a true #1 CB on our roster to work him out with to see if he's any good. I guess they can watch film of him against Grimes.
I do bet, though, that the Lippett v Parker matchups will be fun to watch. Big CB s Big Receiver. Good practice for both.
