Matt Higgins is one of the three Vice Chairmans of the Dolphins, along with Don Shula and Jorge Perez. Has been all year, nothing new that he is involved with the team, because he is employed by the team. He was a major part of the CEO search after Dee left and they hired Garfinkel.
People read he was part of the Jets organization a couple of seasons ago and their knowledge and research stop there. Bill Belichick was once with the Jets, didn't see Patriots fans holding that over him. Bash the team for their on field play, the coach for not having his team prepared, the GM for his mistakes, the owner for his wrong hires, etc. but let's not bash a person most of you didn't even know was a part of this front office all year because now the words "former Jet" are attached to him.
