Which team produced your least favorite class?

Miller: Miami Dolphins. Miami added two defensive tackles, which filled a need, but it didn't address the secondary well enough in a draft that was set up for it to find a Jalen Ramsey successor and upgrade at safety. The Dolphins didn't select a defensive back until Round 5 -- an area of the draft that rarely produces rookie starters.

But he loved our Ewers pick

What was the best value pick in Round 7?

Miller: Quinn Ewers, QB, Miami Dolphins (No. 231). Ewers came off the board much later than I expected. I don't want to overhype a seventh-round pick, but the Dolphins need a reliable quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa. Ewers has proved over the past three seasons that he can win and be a reliable point guard from under center.

He is "Entitled" to be RONG. - LOL

Can going against the grain drum up clicks for his site? It is Matt's opinion but the draft pundits gave us slightly above average so I'm going to agree with them.

He loves Ewers?!?! And wanted a team that's historically wasted hundreds of millions on secondary players to continue down the same path that's brought about zero playoff wins in 25 years to keep doing the same thing, that's proven not to work?

Guys wildly incorrect and sounds like a Bills, Jets or Pats fan, that wants us to keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

In years past, we often won the "offseason". Our draft wasn't flashy but wish we could have acquired more picks in the mid-rounds by trading down. We could have easily picked up serviceable rookie CB and safety. Then we would have been able to double down on all of our positions.

Miller can...

Although we are in this situation because of Grier, he did what was necessary in this draft. We have got to get our trench play straightened out and then go from there.

Again with the corners first mentality…

Seems like the consensus around the league was our secondary was a bigger issue than our defensive and offensive lines, probably because of the Ramsey news and the lack of names in our secondary, it’s all young guys now.

I think we can all agree that replacing Eich and fixing our defensive line was a more pressing need than the secondary. Time to build this thing the correct way, from the inside out
