Matt Moore is willing to take chances when he's on the football field.
The Miami Dolphins backup quarterback is known to come out throwing the football in the game. He's not known for being passive or timid. He comes out firing.
"He's going to take some chances. He comes in there flinging it," Miami offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen told reporters Wednesday. "He has a little gunslinger to him. He's fun to watch."

I like it a bit as well, Marino did it and it was a treat. Only thing is Moore will throw that pic that causes excessive drinking and damage to whatever is around you at the time...often accompanied by cursing. I would fall on the floor if he goes an entire game without throwing that crucial pic.

Like I tell everyone I watch the games with, Moore is going to throw a pick. You just have to hope it is early. Alot of times it seems to be at a bad spot in the game i.e. driving for a TD or giving up field position. But after that pick, often, it seems to help him focus.

The big difference is that on 3rd and long he takes a chance. My attitude is: why go short and punt, go long and take a risk. If the ball is caught - great. Incomplete - ok we punt anyways. Interception - I see it as a punt on 3rd down. And at times you get a PI in your favor. I am sick and tired to see the "give up mentality and the series" on offense if we have a holding penalty.

Amen - and half the time if the punt ends up netting 24 yards or something, you would have been better off with an interception. Some of the ballsiest plays we see from QB's all over the league are deep throws on crucial 3rd (or 4th) downs. Need 4 yards for a 1st down? eff it, we're going deep! We saw it from our QB's last year and it was a breath of fresh air, risky sure but even if missed I think it accomplishes something.

That's the sure thing with our QB's we can expect them throw an INT! But it needs to be done early and not in a time of need when we need it the most.

That was an awesome comeback Moore was a big part of last week. If he gets some confidence going early it could be a huge boost to the offense. The D has by and large played respectfully so a bit of scoring will make this team win many more games.

LOL!
I know exactly what you mean!
Therefore, I plan to drink a little bit before kick off to take the edge off!

For some reason, though, I feel Moore may have a really good game.
I just feel like he is due one really good 5 TD game.

How can you be a gunslinger when you've barely got the arm strength to throw an out route?

Mr. Moore is our QB right now. I hopes he throws for over 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. Time to get the black birds monkey off our back.
