I highly doubt this happens and even without Gase he would be a long way down my list, but worth noting about Patricia.

If Gase is in Miami today (and therefor so is the search team) how does Matt Patricia meet both us and the Browns?

Apparently this was previously scheduled and has yet to be cancelled. If they keep it I would think he is up this morning then they spend the remainder of the day trying to close on Gase.

not so sure on this one. If we know we want Gase and if Patricia only had one day to interview before what could be potentially be a long playoff run, it would be respectful to let him focus on the Browns.

Reports are that Hue and the 49ers share a strong mutual interest. Explains why his Browns and Dolphins interviews were cancelled and why Miami pressed for Gase Thursday evening and will host him a second time today. Quite frankly I am no fan of hiring Patricia but I won't knock them for being thorough.

If I'm Tannenbaum why wouldn't I want the Division King's DC in my office sharing his ideas? A lot of interviews do exactly that.

and why would he share ideas, he isnt blind to these reports and that as soon he leaves Gase is back in the door

I don't see the dysfunction in this case. A split between Ross and the football ppl he hired is far from established.
