Now I didn't really watch too much of Matt Moores game but after watching this vid, i see he is pretty accurate, hes a little mobile in the pocket, he has arm strength and is very patient...i mean even tho this is his 2009 video, i just don't know where he went wrong in 2010. Matt mention n in his press conference it was a lot of injuries on the panthers like Steve smith there # 1 nd only go to guy/weapon on the panthers so lets be honest without Steve smith the panthers are worthless, im not trying to make no excuses thoe but so far im loving what i see from moore and i can guarantee u he takes henne spot if orton doesn't get traded here
 
I want Orton, but I'd love to see Moore beat out Henne. Maybe that just shows how down on Henne I am.
 
It's hard to tell anything from a highlight video. Honestly, I doubt he is our savior at QB.

One thing I noticed is that he seemingly has the ability to complete good throws without the luxury of stepping into them. Henne for sure cannot do that.
 
Its very interesting. Moore had a good season in 2009, but 2010 was terrible. To be fair though, that team they had in 2010 had a TERRIBLE line, and no running game.
 
Does anyone know if this guy pump fakes? I'd like to have a quarterback who can utilize the pump fake...

Since 1999 we have been saying the same thing every year, "This guy might be IT, he is this or that", so I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. All I know is that one year it will happen.
 
Looks like the beast will like him due to him not being shy about throwing it up for grabs. Noticed decent play action and he also didn't seem to lock down on his receivers. Just wish he had a little more zip when he needs it. Nice touch passing tho

What amazes me is that, based on the upload date of pre-December 2009, most of those highlights are from his rookie season.

Don't forget, he was an UDFA that year, too.
 
everyone looks good in highlight vids. that said i hope he comes in and gives chad a run for his money
 
Well Matt Moore is what he is. Probably more suited to be a backup QB. This is just another guy who has ZERO chance of being our franchise QB brought in to compete with another guy (henne) who most likely has no chance of being our franchise QB either. More wasted years...
