He's been released, will Nicktator reunite with an old friend?

I wouldn't mind a look from what little I saw of him during the PS.

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

John Clayton eluded that we may be interested in him. I'd rather keep what we have if we don't get Couch or Davey.

He's definitely an option, I really do think that Saban would rather have Matt Mauck on this roster than A.J. Feeley. I just am not sure if Mauck would be our first option, I'm really not sure but it's definitely a likely realistic possiblity in my honest opinion.

^^^ I am in accordance.

Mauck's 2004 preseason stats:
28/52 335 53.8% 1 TD 2 INT Rating 64.2
Mauck's 2005 preseason stats:
8/17 170 47.1% 1 TD 1 INT Rating 78.1

Not spectacular by any means, but better than Davey did, and if we're going to use "has experience with Saban at LSU" argument, i'd pick Mauck over Davey. Mauck is a better passer.

He was Denver's third string QB who just got released and he has played for Saban before.

Sounds just like the stud franchise quarterback we are looking for.

At This Point We Should Bring Him In, Let Saben Take A Look At Him And See If He Still Has The Stuff He Had At Lsu. If He Don't , We Don't Sign Him, If He Does We Trade Aj Or Gus Or Sage And Let Him Play Ball.

I think we stay with what we have unless there is a DEFINATE UPGRADE to be had, someone like Couch. And that is only if he is REALLY healthy. Mauck is not an upgrade and neither is Davey

What was Brock Berlin's preseason stats?

I'd probably rather bring back Brock Berlin as our third string QB.

Did the QB from USC make the Patriots team?
