I apologize, I wasn't sure how to get the direct links to the videos, but on that page Mike Mayock has two videos; one describing how well Tannheill has progressed and the other praising how well our defense pressured Rivers. both were good watches IMO. This flooding of positive press feels almost too good to be true... I hope our Dolphins don't get lost in this new hype and continue to play good football. Feels good to be a Dolphin fan right now!

lol what im not surprised.. wait til we beat lions n bills.. thats when i will get excited.. saw this comin in pre sea..

Tannehill finally breaking out we all knew it was coming except for the few tannehaters

As a Tanehill supporter since day one whose faith wavered his first three games this season, I need to see consistency across the season. Last year things seemed to turn the corner and then two dud games in a row to kill the playoffs. If I'm going to buy all in again, I need to see a performance that's all in for a full season. Seems fair to ask.

I think we need to see him still playing at least OK when facing upper tier interior pressure. He's going to get it bigtime over the next two weeks, so we should know a lot more in a fortnight.

The D has already proven itself as top tier, Imo, against some great offenses.

These next 3 are interesting, it will be adequate to win one of them.....two would be great.....all three would be outstanding and have whole league buzzing at 8-3.

It's still early....but it sure seems like the light has gone on for Tannehill....and the defense has been great all year....that is recipe for contention.

I'm pretty nervous about the Detroit and Buffalo games, no lie. However, I believe that our O-line will hold up better and Tannehill has looked much more effective lately when dealing pressure. We didn't allow single sack, but there were times where the protection broke down and he made something happen. I know he won't do it every time against these teams coming up... but if he continues to play the way he's been playing, we have a good chance at beating both Detroit and Buffalo. I have a feeling we're going to get heavy payback on those Bills!

Definitely looks like the light has come on and we finally have an OC/QB whisperer who is properly developing his raw talent and exploiting his strengths. Not that I expect that he won't stumble along the way, especially against stalwart defenses. Hell, look how our presently elite D made Brady and Rivers look. -or how the revitalized NE D just made Peyton look. So to expect more at this stage of Tannehill's evolution as a QB is probably naive or shortsighted. To take a little poetic license (literally) with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's ode: "when he was good, he was very good," at this point, Ryan has shown more than enough upside to have the foresight to ride out the inevitable valleys in anticipation of more of those higher peaks..

Makes me chuckle at those who doubted Tannehill. What were they watching

Think we have to win 2 out of 3 to put ourselves in good position. With two losses in three games, we could wind 4 of the next 5 and still miss the playoffs, and we have a home game against Baltimore and then a road game against NE. The AFC is much better than it has been in recent years, so Miami isn't going to almost back in to the playoffs this year. We actually match up pretty well with Denver, so I'm not going to assume that's a loss (though Denver will and should be favored). Have to win 2 of our 4 remaining road games (DET, DEN, NYJ, and NE) and at least 3 of our remaining home games (BUF, BAL, MIN, NYJ). If Miami is to take the next step, they're going to have to win all the games they should and at least a one where they aren't favored. Detroit would be a great start.
