Mayok or Grier?

Mayock was a good TV personality and was a good listen. He will be just fine if he finds something for his audience to follow like a show or podcast. Grier had a good draft last year so that is exactly how what have you done for me lately was answered. I have no idea if that's right or wrong.

I have a friend that’s a raider fan and he claims that gruden was responsible for the early picks and mayock the later picks. If true he did a really good job in the late rounds. it really doesn’t matter tho Grier will be the GM here rain or shine as long as Ross is around

Mayock's drafts weren't even that bad. Is it Mayock's fault that Henry Ruggs killed someone driving drunk?

Because you had Ruggs, Josh Jacobs, Jonathan Abram, Trayvon Mullen, Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, Alex Leatherwood, Trevon Moehrig, and a bunch of depth that is still on the team except for maybe 2-3 picks and Lynn Bowden (lol).

He probably wouldn't have been fired if Jon Gruden didn't send the Dats Racist emails years ago. I feel bad for the guy.

Prefer Grier. I'm not a fan of Mike Mayock. He totally turned me off when he was "predicting" selections at the last second as he was watching the player on the phone with the team. You're supposed to have enough class not to be tempted by that, regardless if some of your early guesses have been wrong.

It will be interesting how he handles the aftermath of this. He'll certainly be asked those questions...who was making the picks at each stage of the draft. I'm not buying the notion that Mayock is only responsible for the late good ones.

Grier over Mayock for sure......that said Grier sucks other than 2021 draft.

This narrative just isn't true.

Their are 4 starters from the 2021 draft. However there are 5 starters from the 2020 draft. And I'm not counting Blake Ferguson as the long snapper.

Sure, Jackson isn't starting material, but neither was Eichenberg this season much of the time.

I get that there were 4 more draftees in 2020, but still. Netting 9 starters, 7 of which are solid starters, from the past 2 drafts isn't awful.

Wilkins, Van Ginkel and Gaskin from the 2019 draft -- which only consisted of 6 total draftees -- wasn't bad either.

A team blowing all but one draft doesn't win 10 and 9 games the past 2 seasons respectively. The Dolphins have become a 10-win level team because their drafts have been getting increasingly better and better the past few years.

Wow, another person besides me that thinks Grier is doing a decent job. We should start a club LOL kidding.
