McDaniel Fired

I'm still amazed Ross made both moves this season...and both were the right move! I have the bigotry of low expectations when it comes with him making the right choices for this franchise. Glad to see something positive come from the Ross regime...finally. If we can somehow lose Tua this offseason, it will be stellar.
Tua will make it a trifecta. Boy does he suck now.

I would rather take a chance on the unknown, than someone I know has already failed at least once. 11 of the 14 head coaches in the playoffs right now were first time head coaches with the team they are coaching currently.
So you'd take a potential Adam Gase or McD as a 1st time HC over an Andy Reid, Sean Payton, Mike Vrabel because those guys supposedly failed once already....okay yeah that makes a ton of sense, lol.

The reason why so many people want a retread is because they have learned from their experiences, gained more coaching connections, and won't make the same old mistakes we have witnessed here in Miami with 7 1st time HC's in a row.

Those guys had success in other places. I would love to get Harbaugh. He’s by far and away the best available candidate out there. He is this year’s Mike Vrabel, but who else is out there that has previous head coaching experience that you feel good about ? There is nobody that I would say has a clearly better chance of succeeding over a first time head coach.

I really liked McDaniel, and I really hoped a goofy personality like his could work here as a head coach. And it did at first. But the league adjusted to his offenses and he could not adjust himself til it was too late. This season was a microcosm of that. Did you guys know that we ended the season getting shut out in the final TEN third quarters of the season? That to me, was the #1 reason he sadly had to be let go.
