McDaniel interview w/ LeBatard, on the O-line: 'I have watched the tape. My eyes have been opened. I do know the statistics.'

Not to mention that the same staff rode Erik Flowers out of town on a rail - and he ended up a higher rated player than any lineman on our team this season!

And didn't Ted Karras start for the pats this year on one of the highest ranked O lines? It has to be coaching

it’s definitely a coaching issue. You could replace Jessie Davis with Robert Jones and have decent results under McDaniel. But I’m sure McDaniel will add 2 guys. 1 guard 1 tackle I think

I wonder if Larnel Coleman will benefit in this scheme. 6'6 310, long arms, known for run blocking and being pretty athletic for a T.

Laken Tomlinson,

Daniel Brunskill

FA RYAN JENSEN, And a scheme fit ol draft pick
and possibly a top free agent left tackle

Conspiracy Theory : Flores started people out of position on the OL and "coached them down" so Tua would flounder and/or get injured.

At this point, I'm convinced that Flores is so spiteful and vengeful that he would do anything to make Tua fail so he could move on.

Im still shocked the Rich played so poorly and that Jackson and Kindly just fell off a cliff...
Its not really a wild theory. I mean Kindley was a good rookie, then he was shi7. Eich was a great college LT, then he sucked as a pro. Even jackson was a decent enough rookie considering what he went through in his personal life. Then he sucked.

Decent coaching, well, that just may do wonders.

too bad i just didnt lilsten to the part with McD. the BS before it was 2-3 minutes of stupid ****, the woe is me Flo and his sham interviews, McD not being black enough because he claimed he was a human. The league saying we will hire biracials, that will make them happy.

Good stuff by McD though since they even said they were trying to bait him on a Tua question.

These guys sounds like complete tool pieces of **** though. "we couldnt talk good news stories yesterday because we were having to let Adrian Peterson talk about some supplement he started using 2 weeks ago for 20 minutes for sponser money" I mean AP's company is paying you to be on the air and **** on him

It could be coaching, the odds are that many misses on the OL goes against the averages.
Jonathan Martin
Dallas Thomas
Liam Eichenberg
Austin Jackson?
Solomon Kindley
Michael Deiter
Isiah Prince
Isaac Atista

Aside from OL I think the 2020 draft could mirror the 2017 fiasco
  • Round 1: T.J. Watt would replace Charles Harris. ...
  • Round 2: JuJu Smith-Schuster would replace Raekwon McMillan. ...
  • Round 3: Jonnu Smith over Cordrea Tankersley.

Isaiah Prince has looked very solid for the bengals. Case A right there it’s coaching

I believe Flo couldn't simply get a competent offensive line coach after the nonsense he pulled on two of his previous OL 7 OC coach hires. Seriously he really screwed them over, assistant coaches couldn't trust him.

This is why you end up with last guy who was in no way shape or form and professional level OL coach. I doubt it is possible to intentional coach what we saw last year, frankly I've never seen anything like it outside perhaps a JV team.

Wouldve been a huge flex if he answered the 4th and 1 question with "BRISET.....BRISSSEEEETTT"

I hate Flores but I don't buy that for a second.

Right or wrong, I fully believe he didn't think Tua was the guy after working with him.

As a HC the QB position can either make your career or destroy it, no coach is going out of his way to intentionally make his QB fail. It usually costs them their job, and Flores is all about himself, you can see from his reactions after getting canned.

But putting him in last year after game 6 when he was still not likely fully recovered from his hip injury and didn't have a real off season due to Covid is kinda setting him up for failure. Then that b.s. with holding him out of games and playing Brisset when Tua wasn't injured that bad. Plus the circus act that was Deshaun Watson and telling Tua before the season started that they were pursuing him. The examples are countless.

I agree that normal coaches wouldn't go out of there way to make a QB fail, but this is Flores we're talking about. The guy that alienated himself from the rest of the staff and is suing multiple teams in the NFL. As you mentioned, he is all about himself and he wanted to prove to Ross and Grier that they were wrong in wanting to draft Tua. He's a spiteful little biotch...and I wont put anything past him at this point.

You guys are giving Flores too much credit by suggesting these conspiracy theories. He's too stupid to come up with those plans. Let's not overlook the obvious answer; that he was an incompetent buffoon.
