Mcfad has kids on the way, might hurt our trade out chances

"News got out" Sunday that Arkansas RB Darren McFadden is battling a paternity suit and has two more children on the way, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

McFadden reportedly told this to a team during an interview. There are plenty of question marks surrounding McFadden, but none seems to be particularly serious. Because of that and his talent, we doubt he could fall far on draft day. Of course, a slip up before the draft would send up a major red flag.

THis may hurt our chances hopefully not.

BTW a sidenote, Broncos are closing in on a deal for Rogers so clearly we weren't 1 of the top 4 left. I'm happy cuz i want all of our picks and more.

I dont think this will hurt us trading or not it not like he is the one pragant he will probly be there with her when she has the kid but i dont think it will hurt his stock at all he wont miss any time because of the kids unless they are really sick or something
 
Oh jesus christ. when we drafted John Beck it was a good thing that he had kids and a wife --- just some more crap for a story. They blow everything non-football related way out of porportion. Kid can play football, this should have no merit on his draft status.
 
I am not familiar with the particular situation and I am in no way trying to vindicate a man who has a responsibility to his children, but Darren Mcfadden is about to make a lot of money and it would not suprise me if at least one of these suits did not have any merit.

I could be totally wrong..... but this is the way the world works sometimes
 
i meant it as in if its with 2 diff women that goes to show how responsible/serious he is about his life and disciplined he is as a person. Thats the point.

Thank you, if anything he gets points for disclosing it and alot of times, and there are plenty of stories to back it up, young men mature when they have children.

read the post above the last one you'd see my point. Does it take this many kids or this many diff womens kids to mature? if that is the case on what happened thast foolish. PPL need to stop makign excuses for ppl's stupidity. You dont need to have a kid to mature. Its like saying that kid had to steal from the store to realize waht he should and shouldn't do. thats a very dumb way to learn.

What business is it of yours if he's having sex without a condom, or using it improperly?

That's his and the woman's choice to make. You have no idea what the specifics are, and considering his place right now in the world, him being a soon to be multi multi millionaire, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of these suits has no merit.
