Mckinney was just signed to add depth. He could be cut if the FINS draft a center/guard ( Baas) to backup Hadnot. Saban could be making everyone think that he will pick Brown when he really wants to pick Benson or Cadillac. Smith is a great collage QB but I Think that the Fins should give that # 2 pick a chance to fail or thrive.

Is that why Hadnot showed up to offseason pre-workouts at 360?

Hadnot is'nt a center anymore...he is a guard.

The McKinney signing is a good move in my opinion. He, more then anyone else was a victim of Tony Wise.

In my opinion Houck will coach the hell out of McKinney and we will see why he was drafted so high....

If Houck ships Mckinney into shape

Houck could turn the O-line into a solid unit and Mckinney could be a good center . I just have not seen him dominate yet in the games I have seen. The Dolphins need a great center like Mawai to crush opposing MLB's.

McKinney couldn't pick up a blitz if it was standing on him. I hope Houck can make something of him, but I do have my doubts. I'd love to get a center in the 3rd or 4th round this year.

If Houck gets the other 4 lineman to play really well, they can more than compensate for McKinney, who IMO, can easily be an average center with better coaching. I believe we potentially have 3 REALLY good lineman at 2 guards and RT.

Othen a developmental LT/OL, I seriously the Phins will draft any OL.

IMO, Reading between the lines HH will spend this this evaluating and coaching the existing linemen. Next year, we'll draft a couple of vesatile OL.

Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but IMO the Hudson Houck influence is vastly overstated in terms of what he can do to our current linemen. They are unathletic, inexplosive mediocrities for the most part and Houck isn't bringing a DNA transfusion, to my knowledge. The San Diego guys were much more manueverable and quick last year, simply better athletes all around, regardless of where they were drafted. What the heck is he going to do with a Seth McKinney? I watch the linemen on every snap and McKinney simply can't burst to the LB or turn a DT. Until we severely upgrade the athletic ability up front Hudson Houck or anyone else is not going to fulfill the savior role so many on this forum are clamoring for.
