Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins C Seth McKinney said that he was told he will start the Saturday, Aug. 10, preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. McKinney said he received the news following the Monday, Aug. 8, preseason game against the Chicago Bears. Dolphins head coach Nick Saban has said that a final decision has not been made.

I keep reminding myself to have patience, that it's only preseason. But damn...McKinney?

The best news so far today.(NOT REALLY) But the sooner McKinney can confirm he sucks, the sooner Hadnot can get the job and we can move on and cut our losses.

The key statement is Saban has said that a final decision has not been made.

I hope Saban doesn't let that happpen, he's going to get our QB's killed by IMO, the best DT tandem in the league (John Henderson and Marcus Stroud). These guys can get after the QB quick and they are way too strong for McKinney to handle.

I see why McKinney was offended when Ricky was talking about the blocking last year after he retired. McKinney knew it was mainly about himself. :rofl3:

I was thinking along those lines as well, until I realized Nick shouldn't have to put Mckinney in a game situation to know he sucks.
I'd rather have Rex soaking in the game experience than Seth wasting our precious time. Right now, you've got to think this is Nick telling Seth, okay here's your last chance. Put on your gameface and show us why we should even consider you as the starting or backup center.

If I were Saban, I would be trying different combo's to a point. I would think that after the third pre-season game I would have my O-line pretty much set, and my QB picked.

This gives our starting guys the last two games to prepare, and start to build cohesion.

No worries up to that point.

Dude after I read Mckinney was gonna start Monday I was hoping and Im praying that none of our starters that being the QB,Line except Mckinney,or backs get hurt.If ronnie would have been signed.I would have fainted when i heard this news.YOu guys should be glad he aint gonna play with the O-line and Mckinney blocking ahead of him.Cause if ricky almost got killed cause of Mckinney's fat a$$ imagine what can happen to a rookie.The Jags have one sick DL.I think the best in the NFL.
