McMahon, Marino set to duel

As part of the grand opening events at the new Soldier Field, a flag football reunion game is set for Oct. 11. It will feature a team of 1985 Bears led by Jim McMahon against an All-Pro team led by Dan Marino.

Other Bears include William "Refrigerator" Perry, Dave Duerson, Otis Wilson, Willie Gault, Kevin Butler, Dan Hampton and Dennis McKinnon.

Also on the All-Pro team are Roger Craig, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Billy Sims, Andre Reed and Eddie Payton.

"We had a lot of special players on that 1985 team, and this should be a special game," McMahon said. "It'll be nice to see everybody again. I just hope Too Tall doesn't have a flashback." Tickets are $30 and go on sale Aug. 23 at all Ticketmaster outlets. dream-events.com
