So it looks like time is running out for these guys. There is only 2 weeks left before Free Agency kicks off. They may hit the market. Who would you sign from the three?

Here is where I stand:

McNair: Probably the best option. He only has 2 or 3 years left tops, but he is a strong, veteran competitor. He would be an upgrade to Frerotte, which would allow for Frerotte to move to the backup role leaving one spot for Lemon or a rookie to mentor from. Having both Frerotte and McNair would give Miami an enormous amount of veteran leadership and experience at QB. With the both of them, Miami could make a run at the playoffs in 2006. After 2006, Frerotte would have to go.

Culpepper: This is my second choice. He is still young and probably has alot of great football left in him. However, he does have some personal issues to deal with. His injury will be tough to bounce back from. Everyone will be wondering if he can return to full form again. He is still young and could provide Miami with a solid QB for quite some time. Saban could probably help him become more of a professional and clean up his act too. I wouldn't be upset if Miami traded a 2nd round pick for him. If he gets back in shape, he will be well worth it.

Pennington: I hope Miami stays away from him. I don't think Pennington will ever get back to what he once was. His best chance would be to leave NY. But even then, he has alot to overcome with his injuries and lost confidence. Miami should stay away from him.

I would agree with you. Culpepper wont be availible till mid season and pennington doesnt have the arm for our down field threats

I think Daunte and Mcnair are huge upgrades to this team..while chad could help us alot...I'd take any of the three to be honest with you..not that i don't like Gus..All those names are solid contributors..maybe not chad but if he gets back to full strength he's one hell of a qb..i'd take all 3

mcnair to mentor omar jacobs sounds good to me

I'd say Culpepper if those are our only choices. I don't like any of them, but Culpepper would be an upgrade. I like Mcnair, but he is only good for half the season due to injuries. Pennington sucks! No Thanks!

Remember Brees is not getting Franchised or Tagged so we might have a chance at him as well.....

I am so thankful that Wanny still isnt here. I have a feeling hed be all over Pennington if he was.
