McNair...Ugh

if you somehow alter your opinion based on a guy fumbling two snaps with 2 centers he's had 3 days to practice with in a pro bowl......wow.
 
the bothed snaps didn't bother me since he was with centers he never worked with.
But what bothered me was his arm strength when throwing to the sidelines...he had nothing on the ball. Much like Marino toward the end of his career. But he can still wip it down the middle of the field.
 
If McNair is available then yes interested. I would be interested in any Vet who can make this team better. While Mcnair is not a great QB anymore he is still good.
 
McNair was my favorite player of all time until those two botched snaps. Now I have a completely different perception of him. What a bust.
 
whatever happened in the pro bowl has nothing to do with the fact that bringing him in is a bad idea, imo. if saban wants to bring him in, fine, but i hope it isn't just a desperate attempt to rush the process. no one is saying they're satisfied with frerotte but mcnair isn't the answer.
 
McNair is better than Frerotte. Funny thing is that hes playing in a probowl, granted he wasnt the first selection but you'd have to have 14 AFC Qbs get hurt before Gus would have made it.

And when he did manage to get the snap, he looked a lot slower than what he should be and hes not that accurate so its about the same as having Gus so NO
