You know, in the wake of the bounty scandal with the Saints it might help to remember... it's not just that you WIN... but it does also matter HOW you win... and how you play the game.

I, for one, grew tired of Marshall's mouth, his antics, his attitude, his lack of focus... and all the dropped balls. That man has twice the physical gift of Jerry Rice... but not half his heart, desire and sense of urgency.

Again I say... good riddance to the diva. Good luck Bears. You're going to need it.
 
You have McMicheal on your logo. You know he was not a choir boy inside and out of the lockerroom.

No matter whether you liked Marshall or not, we got robbed, and you should be upset our FO couldn't get more.
 
Yeah he's a cancer. All of his teammates are shocked and confused and saddened by the news he's gone. And he got Vontae to play the best he has played in a long time. He had his off the field issues, but he was a great player, and a good teammate.
 
Strange how the at least two of the locker room cancer's team mates and a former team mate have all tweeted to say how this is a crazy move by the club.

All of his teammates? You mean Pouncey who was not saddened just suprised.
 
Name the last Superbowl Champion that had a legit Elite #1 WR.....Marshall, Moss, Owens, V. Jackson, etc.... Yeah its good but New England/Green bay spread the ball around more which is why they are more successful. Yes they have Welker and Jennings as their primary target but the receptions get spread out. Lets keep building towards a solid competitive team. Go Dolphins!

As for getting robbed... hmmm... I'll say that it was a combination of us paying too much for him in the first place and perhaps one of those 3's should have been a 2. Does that constitute getting "robbed"? Not in my book.

Should we have gotten more? Yes - definitely.

COULD we have gotten more... hmmm, probably not. Notice where he's gone to... I think few teams besides one that's led by Jay Cutler at QB would want to deal with Marshall's baggage.

I think the point of my post is that I'm seeing this as addition through subtraction. As a player... I wouldn't want Marshall on my team. We don't need "mouths" on our team. We need PLAYERS. Let your play do the talking.

Marshall's a gifted athlete... not a player. His attitude borders on him justifiably being called a "punk".

If... BIIIG IF... if Manning is coming to Miami... I seriously doubt he wants to spend the last three years of his career struggling with the attitude of some DIVA on the receiving end of his passes.

Much worse FA wrs are already gone in day 1 of FA. Moss also signed already with SF. Moss isn't a problem?

We should have gotten more, and the DIVA is already paid...just wanted a QB throwing to him. But whatever, I guess wanting to win is worse than beating your gf.

New England has one of the best QB's to ever play the game, and GB has the second or third best QB in the league (who may be well on his way to becoming the best). We have jack**** at QB, and now we have jack**** at WR too. I'm sure there has to be some master plan in mind, but I'm not holding my breath as I don't have any faith in this organization.
 
You can't say Marshall didn't play hard (heart, desire) He ran his mouth more than I would like but they guy was a hard worker for us and always had winning and the team in mind.

We were paying Marshall a lot of money to drop several first downs and TDs. Funny how many people forget the major mistakes he made last year and how much they cost us. Then to go back to the huddle sulking. I also have read he isn't a good fit for the new system. I for one am not that upset about the deal, but curious where we go from here...

I think you are out of line here and making this personal... never mind that this comment fails to stay ON TOPIC.

I agree that we should have gotten more. And I agree that Marshall should have a better QB throwing to him than he's had of late here in Miami.

But I don't agree with his bravado on the field or his ridiculous comments before, during and after games. I saw him as a distraction to the team's making progress (and playing as "a team").

So, again, you can take issue with that and you can disagree in my view of Marshall as a DIVA... maybe you could put up a poll on a new post, "Do you think Brandon Marshall is a diva-receiva?"

But don't try to turn a discussion into something personal by using the personal life of my avatar as a slight... it's ridiculous... McMichael was just a player I liked coming out of college who the 'Phins happened to draft and he had promise for a couple of years.

Question: Is this how you discuss things at home with your wife? Passive-aggressive much?

GB and NE offenses are successful because they have hall of fame QBs. We dont have that, and now we dont have an elite #1 WR because apparently that isnt a good thing to have either.
