With everyone talking about us not getting much attention on the national stage. I think that most are right if we keep wining we will get more attention and I am not soled on everyone hatting on us. But what I do find to be very funny is all the talk about the packer and pats game. Pat loose and everyone is taking about how good both teams are it was just really good game. And no one is talking about one being any better then the other and everyone is praising both teams. But we loose to the packers last second and everyone talks about how much better they are and that we still need a lot of work are not there yet. I just don't get it. I find it funny. Pats loose and its ok we loose and get bashed. But I guess that's just part of being where we are. And I wonder if any of that changes if we beat NE. Your thought?

I think if we win tonight and next week and somehow manage to sweep the Patriots, the spotlight will be all on Miami. They just need to be careful not to puke on themselves in the final 2 games like last year.

That being said, I just can't see the Dolphins sweeping the Patriots.

****. If we sweep the Pats, which highly unlikely, ESPN will implode.

Most of our secondary is injured. We have survived without our starting LT but it's not a recipe for a playoff run. We've also lost several key ST contributors. LB corps is extremely thin with a non 100% Misi. We've lost our starting RB, and our backup, who has played lights out, is also injured. Our FG kicker is not going to be dependable in a close game.

Yes, we have a favorable schedule up ahead, but I can see why a talking head wouldn't really count us in on paper. Truthfully, this season has been a resounding success regardless of what happens from here (unless they completely crap the bed) given the key injuries.

I have a feeling if everything falls into place, and Miami/NE do indeed get the chance to play for the division, the refs will get a memo that week, and will be just as objective as they were last year in New England.

If by some miracle, Miami does end up winning, it will be far more monumental and improbable outcome then anyone could ever imagine.

Unfortunately, the Pats have earned alot of emotional capital with these commentators. Fact is, these folks who do the reporting and commenting on football aren't sharp cookies, they tend to lean conservative in their views, and fact is NE has been good for an extended period of time so they view everything they do through those goggles, likewise, we've tended to be a middling team always on the cusp and not quite breaking through so they view everything we do through those goggles. That being said, I think this team has proven they are on the same level as the top teams in the NFL, and will finally break through this year, and start getting the respect they deserve.
