New England gives up +200 yards rushing (218) and +200 yards passing (205) for a total of 423 yards to Geno Smith and the Jets and win by blocking a last minute field goal to win 27 to 25.

Media reaction:
The Patriots played against a competitive Jets team. Yes it came down to the wire but the Jets always plays tough against Patriots. In the end New England did what the had to do to get the win. The patriots will be fine moving forward.

Miami gives up +200 yards rushing (277) and hold the Jets to under 50 yards passing (49) for a total of 326 yards to win 16 to 13.

Media reaction:
The jets came in and ran the ball down Miami's throat. Yes Geno Smith had under 100 yards passing but the was really no reason for them to pass until their last drive. The Dolphins are not that good of a team.

I hate the media. :rolleyes2:

NE is the best team in the AFC right now and has a 2 game lead on you, NE has a history of being a top 2-3 team in the AFC, Geno played well and we actually had an NFL gameplan that night. these are just some of the reasons.

w/ all that said it doesn't mean a thing what the media says. Just go out and beat Baltimore, make the playoffs and respect will have been earned.

That makes sense if you ONLY look at that those two games, but obviously they do not exist in a vaccume.

The way the Pats have handled all the division leaders the past few weeks is what ANYONE who watches football cannot fail to notice.

We can actually still win the AFC East out right, but it is not very likely. I will be hoping every step of the way that it happens, but it is silly to pretend that the Dolphins are going to get the same

level of respect as the patriots.

The point is some people in the media want to count us out of the playoff race because of the way we played the jets game. And the pats have not handled all the division leaders they did lose to Green Bay. And even after the lost to Green Bay theirs still people ranking the pats ahead of Green Bay in power ranking.

Yet, the team that got 'ran over' by the Jets, destroyed the Pats....?

:idk:

The game plan monday night was one of the best offensive game plans I have seen out of the Jets in years
