Media getting into the Bash Ronnie game...

Thanks, but no thanks. I don't need to read what those idiots have to say.

Well its to be expected. If your the #2 overall pick in the draft your expected to produce, no excuses. Dont worry he will come out big next week. He will prove that a Caddy may pull out ahead but a Hummer is better for the long run. Wow that was corny :smackhead:

Some of the worst vision i have seen from a RB in a long time
I don't know if I would go that far, but I'll say he seems to have very poor vision for a back picked in his position and for the reasons he was picked for.

Unfortunately For Us It Doesn't Get Much Easier For Him Next Week Facing A Pretty Decent Panthers Defense.

Not corny at all...very good analogy! ;)

not to get off topic, but if you know about cars it actually makes no sense. Caddy is faster out the gates, in the long run, and has a good rating as far as longevity. Hummer's are unknown because of there short company lifespan.

anyway...back to thread.

When you don't produce, then this is the result, as soon as he produces, they will be the first to say they knew he would be great in the end.:D

wow...jumping the gun...no doubt.

well, even in our week one win...our o-line didn't run block to well. r. brown is a rookie...he only played in 2 regular season games and all of a sudden he's a bust. some finfans and the media make me laugh.

so c. williams has looked great with tampa in two games...again it is a long season.

i for one believe that we did take the right running back with the #2 pick. give him time...and before you make judgement on ronnie...don't you think that he needs some time to get comfortable? remember he did miss some training camp time.

i wonder how ricky will look when he comes back? then you can make a better comparison on if it is the o-lines run blocking or the rb running the ball.

some of you people make me sick...we lose one game and everyone is jumping ship...ronnie brown can't play oh and saban needs to be questioned...please do us true FinFans a favor...stfu!!!

Go Fins!!!

Really no one would be in a panic about Brown if Caddy wasnt looking so great. Caddy just looks awesome, dragging tacklers and grinding out runs. He did this against a supposedly great defense, Buffalo. Brown might be great in the long run but Caddy looks like a stud right out of the gate.

cadillac has played a ton more in college in brown. didn't people expect cadillac to start off faster than brown? it seems that everyone before the draft was saying that, but i guess they forgot that part

The 'Hummer' thing is a bad idea if you ask me.

Its slow, VERY expensive, and wastes a lot of gas trying to get going. Hummers, and vehicles like them, are the reasons that fuel prices are so damn high.

As for Ronnie Brown, I am seeing a lot of the things that worried me about him before we drafted him. I always thought that he looked kind of slow and didnt have the 'vision' that the great RBs have to have. On his good runs at Auburn, he always was running through giant holes, and then knocking defenders over who tried to tackle him.

But of course, I trust Nick Saban. Im sure that he has a better idea of Browns talent that I do.

But right now, I am sure glad that Ricky will be back in a couple games. I think that if he played on Sunday- we would have won. He always has good games against the Jets.

 I dont know why but when I read that I could not stop laughing. I knew that I was just trying to put a bright spot in a somewhat dim 2 games for Ronnie.

Until our passing game gets so respect, they will continue to stack the line to stop the run. Caddy is in a different situation you cannot compare the two. Ronnie will be fine, it's our oline that needs work. It also might help if the receivers would catch the ball! Our receivers will not get the respect if they drop more balls than they catch. :fire: :fire:
