The Dolphins could use Mosley's exceptional instincts, and ability to diagnose plays quickly to improve the team's run defense. He would immediately push for a starting spot, allowing the Dolphins to move Dannell Ellerbe to weakside linebacker.
Mosley, a three-year starter at Alabama, is virtually a coach on the field. His athleticism, range and quickness make him a three-down linebacker, and his size (6-foot-2, 234 pounds) hints he's a good fit for any scheme. Mosley is constantly around the ball, which explains the back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons he produced at Alabama."

I'm not against it but i have either a OL or Brandin Cooks

Ok, if thats the case i hope a couple big OL fall into our lap in the 2nd and a later round

except, our defense wasnt the weak point of this team. The OL clearly was and i believe if we get that better itll help take pressure off the defense with a legit run game and better field position.

Our defense certainly was a problem last year. That just gets lost in how bad our oline was. The only changes thus far have been the loss of soliai and the gain of two injured DBs. That isn't going to cut it against the offenses we are facing, nor is the "bend-but-don't-break" nonsense we got by with last year.

I'd have no problem with that pick - but then again this is the "guru" who had us taking the great Brady Quinn at 9 and then went balistic on air. .

Our run D was a major problem, and it was not n the DL but at LB.

We definitely need second level support down the middle on defense - whether that comes from the LB or S position doesn't matter to me, and Mosley could be a decent pick imo.

Our pass defense was mediocre as well, despite Carroll improving quite a bit (though Jones's decline counteracted that). Now we are relying on Finnegan returning to his old form, and I mean 3 or so years ago form, and rookies stepping up. Of course, pass rush is most important, so hopefully Jordan contributes this year. That still leaves our LBs as a huge liability.

I'd be all for Mosley. I wouldn't put my hopes in Wheeler again.

Our resources on D are being put into stopping the pass first and foremost, essentially our D should function best whenever we have nice leads. Unfortunately for them our offense rarely put them in the position to function at their best which is why I think they're being underrated by most. Not sure how this theory would jive with whether or not Mosley is a fit 19 but in my opinion if he's poor at covering receivers or blitzing then he's not a viable option for us.

I'd be happy with him at 19 and an O lineman with our second pick..

Misi will be a Beast in the middle, and Ellerbe, along with Wheeler, will play up to 2012. Take it to the bank.

However, the check is post dated, and from an org donating to the Donald Sterling fund for getting the NAACP lifetime award.

Why do I feel like I'm watching Florida's Brandon Spikes whenever I watch this guy play?
