Melo pulled a Lebron?

He had three opportunities to score. The first time he tried to drive into traffic, and failed. Second time he rushed it, and third time he was double teamed with someone WIIIIIDE open at the three point line.

He didn't chock for missing the shots, he chocked for taking them in the first place. The layup was dumb, the second shot is understandable, it was one on one, but the last one...he tried to be a Hero.
 
He was 0-for-8 in the 4th quarter.

This was Melo's first postseason game. He'll have plenty more chances to prove himself. He's definitely a clutch guy. But we'll see how it goes in the postseason for him.
 
He might of just been nervious or something he'll have alot more chances and next time i bet he looks back at this and doesn't miss.
 
overall he is clutch...he has like 5 gamewi0nning buzzer beaters in the season. And some of those were really tough shots. They showed the shots during the game.

Negative. Wade has come through in games that actually MEAN something - like 3-4 times in the Playoff's throughout his Playoff career.

Melo? None. Overall, I love Carmelo Anthony. The guy is a very clutch performer, but you cannot call him the "clutchest" when he has never come through in a game worth a damn. His level of play DECLINES in the playoffs.......

This is Melo's second. He played horrible in 3 of Denver's 5 games against San Antonio last year in the playoffs.
 
Melo and Wade are pretty even when it comes to clutch..I think Wade might have a slight advantage though. Wade does have J Will, Shaq etc. Melo is a good player and so is Wade..both are stars...(forget the in the making part)
 
Please tell me when LeBron choked. A triple-double in his first playoff game. That doesn't sound like a choke. He carried the City of Cleveland to its first playoff win (in a game not series) since 1998. Wow what pressure. And by the way this isn't Carmello's first playoff series. He was in last year.
 
This is the playoffs now anything that was accomplished this regular season can be erased right now its clutch when players step up...lebron 32 points 11 rebounds 11 assists [Triple Double :eek: ] in his first playoff game to knock off the wizards...gotta give the kid some respect :yes:
 
It's his third playoff series. They also made it as an 8th seed in 2003-2004.

Carmelo has good players around him too.
 
Good gawd. The Nuggest look like garbage.

They should be embarrassed by this performance. DOWN 20 in a must game.
