As Kiper notes, many of the better teams may fill their more glaring needs via free agency allowing them to target the best player available, which would change all potential mocks when such a free agent signing happens.

Until then, here is his second version of his 2016 NFL mock draft:

1. Tennessee Titans: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

2. Cleveland Browns: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State

3. San Diego Chargers: DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

4. Dallas Cowboys: Jared Goff, QB, California

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State

6. Baltimore Ravens: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

7. San Francisco 49ers: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

8. Miami Dolphins: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida

10. New York Giants: Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Eastern Kentucky

11. Chicago Bears: Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame

12. New Orleans Saints: Sheldon Rankins, DL, Louisville

13. Philadelphia Eagles: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

14. Oakland Raiders: Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State

15. Los Angeles Rams: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

16. Detroit Lions: Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama

17. Atlanta Falcons: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson

18. Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama

19. Buffalo Bills: Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson

20. New York Jets: Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

21. Washington Redskins: A’Shawn Robinson, DL, Alabama

22. Houston Texans: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

23. Minnesota Vikings: Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State

24. Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

25. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech

26. Seattle Seahawks: Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss

27. Green Bay Packers: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas

28. Kansas City Chiefs: Jihad Ward, DE, Illinois

29. Arizona Cardinals: Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise State

30. Carolina Panthers: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

31. Denver Broncos: Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State

There will be only 31 picks in the first round in 2016 after the New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft agreed to a deal with the league to forfeit their 1st round draft pick, after admitting their part in the DeflateGate scandal.

It is noticeable to see a few significant players missing off this board. Andrew Billings, a defensive tackle from Baylor seems like a sure 1st rounder, who’s stock is only climbing these days. Also missing is Linebacker Darron Lee from Ohio State, who a good number of sites have as a solid 1st rounder too. Myles Jack at no.7 would seem to indicate Kiper believes he is well healed from an injury that is still severe enough to keep him out of the NFL scouting combine in a few weeks time.

What a downer if they were to draft Stanley instead of a CB,LB, edge rusher.
Stanley would have very little impact next year unless Albert gets injured. Meanwhile there are gaping holes in the secondary and LB BEFORE any injuries to our current starters.
You don't use a top 10 pick for depth. You use it for an impact player.

Buckner before Bosa is interesting.

Lots of discussion here about Ragland and Kiper has him going to the Jets at #20.

Mackenzie Alexander at the end of the 1st round would seem like a huge steal.

I really like Ryan Kelly as a center...

Could be a good pick up for the Colts

I like Stanley but not at 8 especially with a pretty solid LT class.Passing on Hargreaves is a little mind boggling considering some seem to think he is Eliteish type CB...If this is Tannebumms thinking we best trade down and gain a pick and still get a good LT or any other positions that could fill both a need and be BPA.

I'll be shocked if we stay put and take Stanley!

I think Stanley is in the mix, but that would be a surprise pick. With Taylor Decker being mocked at #30, the Dolphins could be in a position to trade back into round 1 for an offensive tackle.

Question to draft experts is Sheldon Rankins a better prospect than Jarrad Reed, A'Shawn Robinson or Andrew Billings?

I would be shocked if Stanley is the pick, but OT isn't a deep position in this draft after the top level talent. If this is the pick, the coaches better have a solid plan for sliding either James or Albert inside, and that player better be good with the plan. If this is the case, we will have one of the best and most expensive offensive lines in history.

If Bosa or Ramsey make it to #5 im calling Jacksonville and doing what i have to in order to move up.

I had Cody Whitehair going in the 1st Rnd, but after his combine bench press of only 14 resps...... I don't think he will get picked that early. I still think he's a good player though...although I never thought his upper body strength was this bad.

NO WAY Elliot last to 22....NO WAY IN NINTH CIRCLE OF HADES

That it is. At least, Buckner to SD makes sense. He is IMO a 3-4 DE.

Dallas would be nuts to not select Bosa if he is on the board at 4..... then the cowboys GM is a bit loony.

Make sense that they go after a Passrusher, they need one worse than a RB or a QB

At this point I'd be super pissed if we passed on Hargreaves or a pass rusher like Lawson/ Spence for Stanley.

We'll see how FA plays out, but right now if Jack is gone I'd take Hargreaves. Jack is just a super versatile LB that makes us instantly a lot better at that position whether he's a Will or Mike.
