We have one of the worst O-lines in NFL History so get off this fantasy idea that bringing back mediocre Jay Fiedler is gonna save the season.

This team is burnt toast, Wannstedt lost this team months ago and most of you ignored all the symptoms.

This team needs a front office enema.....Bring Weiss/Pioli in for 2005, send Fiedler and his 4 million dollar cap number packing.

I have been saying the same thing for months. But I was severely criticized by those wearing those thick rose colored glasses.Scott Pioli is the guru of modern day NFL and we can sure use him in this org.Maybe Wayne H can lure him by offering a similar package that was used to lure Shula.A GM position with some stock options.

Finfaninbuffalo and MD are on their way to prove you wrong.

We don't think Fiedler is going to save the season.... there is no help.

we DO think that Fiedler can at least help us save face, maybe win a game or two.

I would rather lose while seeing if Feeley can be longterm answer at QB then win one game with Jay

As much as i wanted feeley in there, right now I want Jay at the helm. He won last year with a crappy Oline...Given we had ricky but he's got some wins. The only excuse AJ has for last night is the crap weather. However we have three divisional games coming up and I want someone who is totally sure of what he is doing. That person is Jay. If we can pull three wins in a row out of our *** we are right back in it. We are lucky that the three losses came against non divisional rivals. The season may look to be over right now, but three wins and we might get a hold of the rest of the divisions balls.

Your dreaming.....this team will be fortunate to win one of the next three, no matter which mediocre quarterback you play.

By the way, as bad as the O-line was last year, its much worse this year.

Exactly, whats the point in wasting anymore time with Fiedler?

Memo to the original poster:

The trend in Miami has continued. Bring in another QB to replace Fiedler and the entire offense collapses BECAUSE WE NEED A MOBILE QB to make OUR PATHETIC offensive line look a little less pathetic.
The question is, do want to go 7-9 with Fiedler and lose some positioning in the draft or do you want to finish 4-12 with Feeley????

I'll take 4-12 with Feeley, a top ten pick, maybe top 5.

Wannstedt certainly fired......and Spielman.

Getting to watch Feeley for the whole season so we know what we really have in him and whether we need to look for a quarterback next offseason.

Oh, and I would love to get some money on Fiedler not finishing 7-9 with this team. What many of you don't realize is this O-line is much worse than last years version.

At least last years team had Vets who had played together, they may not have been very good but they were better than this group is right now.

But why go after Fiedler? Listen, I know he is a mediocre QB at best.. I just can't understand why you have to create a new post bashing him after watching the most pathetic, sad, horrific performances ever in Dolphins history. Give the man his due. He KEPT the pressure of Wanny, he was the scapegoat and let that retard keep his job because of his mobility in making the offensivee line look somewhat respectable over the years. I finally understand why Wanny loves him so much. Without him, Wanny is finally exposed as a fraud, a man with no ability to scout for talent and no ability to create a good offensive gameplan. If you think Feeley is long term answer you are going to be proven wrong. Even when he has time he looks lost on the field, just like Griese did, just like Lucas did.
I would like to cheer for this team a few times this year. And Fiedler gives us the best chance to do so. I don't want a 4-12 season, I want a respectable finish to the season AND I WANT Wanny/'Spielman OFF THIS TEAM.

I understand, but your fooling yourself if you think Fiedler is quarterbacking this team to a respectable record this year. Fiedler looked just as bad in the first half of game 1, and that was not played in a Tropical storm, you ever tried to throw a Pro Football thats wet?

Yes, I have played a little football in the rain, its always a lot of fun.. :)
Getting back to the original question, Fiedler had one bad half, Feeley has had 2 1/2 bad games, with 2 ints returned for a TD and another one that should have been returned for a TD last night. Fiedler is not the long term answer, but he has a track record for doing OK and keeping the team respectable. Can you say we look respectable these past 3 games with Feeley at the helm??

And it this point, does it hurt to try??? The season is not over, the Jets made the playoffs a few years ago after starting out 2-4.
