chambers in the prowbowl? i called it

at the hall of fame ceramony this summer i saw chambers, as well as the rest of the team, and went up to him and said, "probowl this year chris" and he said "you know it" and now it looks like it might come true.:cool:
 
Maybe. I hope so. Then he can get the monkey off his back and just concentrate on playing well instead of why he's not lighting the world on fire and getting to all the pro bowls etc.
 
I dont see it happening. His stats aren't better then Hines Ward, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison. Maybe he'll be a vote-in, or honorable mention :confused:
 
That would be a great addition to our season.... I am pretty sure he will make it!!! Hey was CC a nice guy???
 
thas funny....you know...besides the 200+ yard game....i really cant think of any other game in which is deserving of the ProBowl....dont get me wrong...I love Chambers...He just doesnt demand ProBowl status yet.

He deserves it. But I almost don't want him to go. Can you imagine the #'s he'd put up next season if he didn't go to Hawaii? Wow. I'm talking team records....poof.........gone.

ck.......what are the chances that he can get to the pro bowl? how many other WR have a chance, i know johnson and harrison are guaranteed.

next time say "super bowl this year Chris" :lol:
 
The last coupld of weeks have put his name in the coaches and players faces so that might get him over, but there's a lot of other WR's with better numbers..But his impact over the last 4 games for the phins while on a winning streak may get him the bump he needs.

There really isn't "a lot" in the AFC.....there's only 2 AFC WR's with more TD's and only 4 with more yards. And there's only 1 AFC WR with more yards AND td's.....and that's Marvin Harrison.

He is a bit lower on the resecption list....but I definately think that the other two stats are more important than receptions.

It should be close and will interesting to see who gets left off among:

Harrison (should be a lock)
C.Johnson (ditto)
H.Ward
R.Wayne
C.Chambers
R.Smith
 
Whats amazing is that there were a ton of people on here a few weeks back that wanted Scott Linehan fired after this season.

And now Chris Chambers is on the verge of his first 1000 yard season and is getting pro-bowl consideration. Not to mention we have 2 backs with averages over 4.5 yards per carry. Also not to mention we actually have a threat of a passing game in a somewhat explosive offense.

I guess Scotty isnt so bad, huh?
 
unfortunately chris doesn't have the numbers to put him ahead of the names. it should serve as motivation though to come out next year and have an even better season.
 
Lets hope we get a QB that can get him the ball regularly.

Notice the quality of QB's throwing to those guys.
