Merged 11x: (ATH & PTI)/Marion Barber-Dallas-Miami Trade Scenarios

Was it on yet? Or is it, "Buy or Sell Trading Marian Barber"?
 
Buy or Sell:

Woody and Plaschke "buy" the trade and say it is good for both teams. Mariotti and Cowlishaw "sell" the trade because both would rather have Marion Barber and two first round picks over McFadden.
 
No doubt we'd get the big end of the stick on this one. That would give us 2 All-Pro caliber backs and 2 first rounders to go with it? I'd be salivating if I were Tuna & Ireland. :up:
 
Id rather have 2 first round picks and Barber too.

Because if they loose Jones they can either take Felix Jones or Mendenhall with 1 first rounder and a WR with the 2nd. Either Sweed or Hardy.
 
Marion Barber Questions

I'm merely pointing out something about Barber that I found a little odd. We all saw him tear it up in Dallas last year and again this year. After seeing what he could do last year, does anyone have a logical reason for him not starting over Jones from the beginning of the season?

Basically I'm entertaining the idea that maybe Jerry Jones doesnt like Barber for whatever reason and the only reason he got the carries over Jones later in the season is to prep him for a trade.

Seems ridiculous to me personally ( I'd take Barber and the picks that Dallas would have to include in a trade with Miami over DMC and whatever we give ). But with all these reports coming out that the trade could now happen I'm just looking for an explanation. This whole thing seemed impossible when i first heard it.

Basically is Jerry Jones really that stupid or is there something else we dont know right now?

Wait wait, what exactly would this trade include for both teams??
 
Kornheiser said this would be a great trade for the fins because we would get a pro-bowl running back and we would get rid of that 1st round pick and also get some more picks.

J.A. Adande said he thought this wouldnt be great for Miami because we already have Brown, so theres bigger needs to fill.
 
Kornheiser was saying this would be a great trade on Miami's end by getting two first round picks, pro bowler Barber, and maybe something else. But he said Dallas is making a mistake on this. Adande said why get Barber when we already have Ronnie Brown. He said we should look for another need instead of getting Barber.
