New CB Needed... 2006 Draft Top 5

Here are my top 5:

1. Jimmy Williams (VT)- Would have been the 2nd takin CB but now with Cromartie hurt, he should be the first choice. Not the fastest CB out there (4.5 40) but shows the most potential.

2. Michael Huff (Texas)- Without a doubt one of the most productive cornerbacks in college football today. Spots the ball without a problem and takes neccisary chances to create turnovers. Only problem is that he has been shuffled around between saftey and cornerback. Needs to settle down in one position.

3. Jason Allen (Tenn.)- A great playmaker at CB with great size and speed. Also has the possibility to be a team leader and a voice of the defense. Like Huff, needs to settle down in one position.

4. Tye Hill (Clemson)- Amazing speed with experience. I've seen this kid play and he has amazing abilities and raw talent.

5. Will Blackmon (BC)- Great size and speed. Would rank him higher but I only have seen so much of him. Great possiblities.

Also in the run:
DeMario Minter (Georgia)
Kelly Jennings (Miami)
Gerrick McPhearson (Maryland)
Cedric Griffin (Texas)

Edit: Add Jarrad Page (UCLA) in there

Also watch FA's Deshea Townsend and Will Allen. I think Townsend would be an awesome addition and then that would also save our draft picks.

the guy mcpherson from maryland is terrible.i watch him play every saturday and hes awful

I didn't know much about him, so I didn't even try puting him in the top 5... but thanks for the info.

I would look at the following:
1. Jimmy Williams VT 6-3 217
2. Michael Huff TX 6-1 205
3. Allen Zemaitis PSU 6-2 205
4. Jason Allen TEN 6-2 200
5. Charles Gordon* KU 5-11 180
6. Cedric Griffin TX 6-1 195
7. Tye Hill CLE 5-10 180
8. Ashton Youboty*OSU 6-1 190
9. Will Blackmon BC 6-0 195

Jimmy Williams I think is going to be a Star at either Saftey or Cornerback. I have also heard that he may be able to play alittle outside Linebacker in some situations.

Other guys I would look at towards the end of day 1-early day 2
10. Darrell Hunter MIAO 6-0 210
11. Kelly Jennings MIA 5-11 180
12. Marcus Hudson NCS 6-2 200
13. DeMario Minter UGA 5-11 200
14. Brett Bell WIS 6-0 190
15. Josh Lay PITT 6-1 195

Page is a true Strong Safety prospect at 6-2 220
Page is a very intriguing prospect at safety but not CB.

Dolphins must decide most important Need in the Draft!

We have alot of holes. So what is the most important hole??? I mean we could pick up a corner in Free Agency ( Nate Clements ) Along with a QB ( David Carr ). I honestly don't see the point in drafting a rookie QB and throwing another year away while he learns. We don't have a team like Pitt. to help a QB like Big Ben. The most important position on the line is LT and anyone who is decent we sign in free agency will be overpriced so just pick D'Brickashaw Ferguson out of Virginia. If he is off the board when we pick then select Jimmy Williams.

i think we should most imporantly pick up clements.hes the guy we need the most.i think carr would be a decent pick up to.we need to make a decison on who to draft and its gonna be tough

Ummmm ANYTHING OTHER THAN RB WOULD WORK ME!!!
