New CB Needed... 2006 Draft Top 5
Here are my top 5:
1. Jimmy Williams (VT)- Would have been the 2nd takin CB but now with Cromartie hurt, he should be the first choice. Not the fastest CB out there (4.5 40) but shows the most potential.
2. Michael Huff (Texas)- Without a doubt one of the most productive cornerbacks in college football today. Spots the ball without a problem and takes neccisary chances to create turnovers. Only problem is that he has been shuffled around between saftey and cornerback. Needs to settle down in one position.
3. Jason Allen (Tenn.)- A great playmaker at CB with great size and speed. Also has the possibility to be a team leader and a voice of the defense. Like Huff, needs to settle down in one position.
4. Tye Hill (Clemson)- Amazing speed with experience. I've seen this kid play and he has amazing abilities and raw talent.
5. Will Blackmon (BC)- Great size and speed. Would rank him higher but I only have seen so much of him. Great possiblities.
Also in the run:
DeMario Minter (Georgia)
Kelly Jennings (Miami)
Gerrick McPhearson (Maryland)
Cedric Griffin (Texas)
Edit: Add Jarrad Page (UCLA) in there
