What do we do in round 2?

Just curious what everyone thinks we will look for in the second round with our newly acquired pick. Although it would be nice if Jason Campbell were there I don't think he will fall that far. Do you think maybe now we go Edwards at #2 and a rb in round 2?

I still think our best move would be to trade down for some extra picks and adrress all our needs. Im curious how all of you think the addition of this second round pick will affect our draft.

I say we get a safety...we will cover an offensive position with either the #2 pick or whatever other picks we get in a trade....We need a safety big time to play on the opposite side of T-BUCK.....If not a safety, go after a center for the o-line maybe Baas or a RB like Barber if we dont get one of the top 3 RB's in the first round....But i say safety is the main priority for us behind a running back

Poll- 2nd Round-who do you pick?

David Baas C
Charlie Frye QB
Corey Webster CB
Adam Terry OT
Elton Brown OG
Luis Castillo DT
Ernest Shazor SS
Ciatrick Fason RB
Chris Canty DE
Adrian McPherson QB

I know they might not all be avaliable, but most will. Brown has dropped a lot.

I take Frye!

I know they might not all be avaliable, but most will. Brown has dropped a lot. And I know it depends who we take in the first and if we trade down.

I take Frye!

IMO Adrian McPherson will go in the third but I would take him in the second to ensure that we get him. His stock has been rising alot.

If Shazor is there at #46, i'd be pissed if we passed on him. Drafting Webster or McPherson in the 2nd would be huge reaches. Neither are expected to go before the 4th, although it wouldnt suprise me if someone took a chance on McPherson in the 3rd. You should make this an actual poll.

add Jerome Mathis to that list.....

His stock has been rising only in the minds of a few fans who have never seen him play. NFL people know better than to take a guy who couldn't complete more than 50% of his passes at the college level that high.

I say JJ Arrington.... the guy rushed for over 2,000 yards this season

Depends on who we take in the 1st.

If we go Braylon Edwards at #2, I'd love in the second round:

Ciatrick Fason, JJ Arrington, or a Morency or Barber.

If we go Ronnie Brown, Caddy...in the first, I'd be happy with numerous picks in the second.

Luis Castillo, Jerome Mathis, Roscoe Parish, Charlie Frye, David Baas, etc...

One thing is for sure though, we need a running back.

I like the potential that McPherson brings to the table but we would be taking too large of a risk by picking him up in the 2nd. No way did we just give up our best DB so we could pick up an experimental QB with that pick. Shazor is the safer pick.

We can get Shazor later than 46, his stock is dropping.

The man at 46 is Darryl Blackstock.
