Nobody on this board knows, not sure if the Miami staff knows but I do think if he was so good he would have played last year.

ive met his brother randomly just thought id add that. who knows if he will become a player for us or not

it's hard to gauge his talent because it felt like Saban was really hesitant to start guys that deserved the job. Ala Tatum Bell...

Must be something there or he would probably have been sent packing like all of the other OL we have said goodbye to in the last couple of years.

Saban was a fraud as an NFL HC. This team had better talent than 6-10. Saban had this team underachieving. Saban was hesitant with many decisions and that is why he failed. He did not trust his own instincts for fear of failure.

Not sure what Alabi has done to deserve any job, but I do agree we could have played him and saw what he coulod do. Unfortnately that is not a Saban idea.

Yeremiah ... you mean. Unless you meant Shanahan ...

he did a heck of a job on Schobel last year when McIntosh went down.........i dont know how good this guy is or will be, but i can promise you he wont be any worse than D-MAC...........

He did Stalemate Schobel plenty of times. Not a bad start, IMO.

He's had plenty of time to get stronger, he is plenty athletic to play LT. The knock on him was he needed to add weight and get stronger. I hope he pans out w/ Carey on the other side we could be set at the tackles for awhile.

Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins General Manager Randy Mueller said OT Anthony Alabi, OT Vernon Carey, and OT L.J. Shelton will compete at left tackle, the position responsible for protecting a quarterback's blind side.

They should let Alabi and Shelton to do it, but if Carey has advanced enough to do it, I'm all for it.

Does that mean we are not looking at Levi Brown, OT, Penn State
