Cnnsi and others (rotoworld and co.) are reporting that standout WR Joey Porter wants out of Oakland because of issues with Art Shell at the helm. Obviously Chambers is our go to guy, and in my opinion the next nfl superstar, but Booker and the rest of the gang may not be as solid as some may think. I'm as excited about Derek Hagan as anyone, but may be worth a gander.

First of all you mean Jerry Porter not Joey Porter(Pittsburgh Steelers OLB). We don't need Porter right now because we have alot of young talent at the WR position and they are going to ask too much to get rid of him.

I'd love to have him. He'd instantly be our #2 WR.

If we got Joey Porter our defense would be sick. Taylor, Thomas, Crowder, Porter would make the QB go into a seizure trying to figure out who's coming and who's not. Porter may make some dumb comments off the field but the guy can flat out play, his intensity is 2nd to none.

yes may be a gander but what do we have to give to get him i think is the real question to be asked should we go for him which i deem unlikely particularly since we picked up two recievers in the draft
 
If he can't get along with Art Shell, I don't think there is any way he will be able to deal with Nick Saban. :evil:

Art Shell is reportedly asking for TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS! That's insane. Basically his way of saying Porter won't be traded, I guess.

he has a major ego second only to terrell owens...he bitched about not getting the ball enough and wanting to become #1 WR...no thanks...
