alrite people lets think about this if we got dan (BIG DADDY) wilkinson it would be a huge help i mean we have keith traylor who is already drawing double imagine havin 2 huge lineman inside that potentially could take up 4 o-lineman that would give so much room for jason taylor and kevin carter and it would help zach and channing and theyd stuff the run kinda a no brainer wat do u guys think

Traylor and wilkinson would never be on the field at the same time. That aside, I am all for signing Wilkinson for a reasonable price, but it looks like he may retire before that would happen.

He's a big body. Even if he's not making tackles he's still taking on a man or 2 which can cause havioc. Bring him in for camp atleasdt

Big Daddy has had a couple of fairly productive seasons in Detroit. He would be great in rotation with Traylor and in goal line situations. This way we could limit Keiths wear and keep him fresh for the year. You dont need two monsters at DT, you should really have one monster and one guy that can get up field and penetrate.

i think saban is done too. but i wouldnt hate the idea of dan wilkonson coming here. he has something left and heck he could play everyfew downs and be really affective but i dont see it happening.

Barring any injuries or problems that arisre during the rest of the off-season, I believe that Saban is probably done with free agents.

I dont think we need him. We have alot of young DTs on the team right now that I'd rather see get playing time and experience than bring in another questionable guy

At NFL minimum....Sure, bring him in for a look. At this point, though, I'd be more for bulking up Roth and utilizeing him at DT, becasue I don't think he's got the tools to be a standout DE.

At any rate, Dan Wilkinson is a dud, regardless of two semi productive seasons. Manny Wight and, Vickerson deserve a chance to show they can play. I wouldn't oppose the idea, but I think the time used evaluating Wilkinson couldbe better spent on our present guys.
